A bright, sunshiney day

Today turned out to be a rather pretty day, much to my delight.  It seemed like more of an actual "spring" day, and several people seemed happy with that.

There is a flowering tree in our front yard that I always enjoy seeing bloom. For the life of me I cannot recall the type of tree someone told me it was almost 5 years ago, but I just love it. It is in full bloom now, so I thought today would be a good time to get a shot of it and add it to my collection.

So, here it is.  :)

Fans = happiness

I am very happy to see that I now have 25 fans on my Facebook page. Not too bad. I look at it as being one-quarter of 100.  ;)  I don't want to bug too many people about being a fan of the page, so I've just sent it out to some of my friends. I'm hopeful people will like what they see and maybe recommend me to others, or maybe people will even just see it and visit out of curiousity. What's the world without hope, right?  :)

I have posted more photos to my Facebook page now, but still need to post some here, as well, to show some examples of the photos I have to offer. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions, or to order any photo prints or note cards at: Godsfingerprintsphotos@gmail.com

Thanks, everyone, for your support!

Quick update

I started my Facebook page for my small business today, as well. So far I'm the only fan, but I hope that will increase soon.  ;)  I spent a good deal of time tonight combing through several of my photos, choosing some to help promote this little business, copying them to a central location, and watermarking photos to post online. Of course, the watermarks will not appear on photo prints or note-cards.

Unfortunately, now I'm too tired to post any photos here. I hope to do that soon, though. Meanwhile, I have put a Facebook page badge on my blog here, so feel free to check out the photos there. Until the next time!

Welcome!

Welcome to my new blog for my side business, "God's Fingerprints Photography." After the encouraging of some friends, I had decided to start a side business to offer some of my photos to the public. I love photography and take photos every chance I get. I especially enjoy trying to capture things that people may sometimes be too busy to notice or really appreciate -- some of the small every day wonders God blesses us with, but that sometimes we rush right past without a thought. These photos are primarily my attempts to capture those things.

I will be offering sets of note cards with my photos on them, individual photo prints in various sizes, and framed and/or matted photo prints.

I hope everyone will enjoy my photos. Feel free to comment leaving your feedback on individual photos, etc. Stay tuned for photos to be posted, prices, etc.

"God's fingerprints are all around us, if only we take the time to look."
